verdadero adjective: real
  • You can use verdadero in both the meanings that the English word has. First, real in the sense of ‘true’:
    Su verdadero nombre era Francisco. His real name was Francisco.
    Diana: su verdadera historia Diana: Her True Story
  • Second, for emphasis:
    Su verdadero nombre era Francisco. His real name was Francisco.
    Diana: su verdadera historia Diana: Her True Story
    Es un verdadero hombre. He’s a real man.
    Es un verdadero privilegio interpretar una música que va directo al corazón. It’s a real privilege to interpret music which goes straight to the heart.
