pendiente adjective: outstanding, unresolved
  • You use pendiente to describe a variety of things which have not been resolved. First, it often goes with asuntos, business:

  • You also often use pendiente with problema, problem:

  • A special phrase is asignatura pendiente, which refers to a subject you have to retake or make up:
